We analyzed clinical aspects on 14 patients of psoriatic arthritis (PsA), who were lived in the Chonnam Province including Gwangju City. Average age of the enrolled patients was 46.2±10.9 years in age with male predominance (male: female ratio=1.8:1). Average duration of psoriasis was 18.1± 12.3 years, and that of PsA was 5.2±5.0 years. The clinical classification of the psoriasiswere plaque psoriasis in 85.7% (12/14 patients), and generalized pustular psoriasis in 14.3% (2/14 patients). PsA developed after psoriasis in 78.6% (11/14 patients), and PsA and psoriasis were detected simultaneously in 21.4% (3/14 patients). Clinical types of arthritis in PsA were classified as polyarthriris (64.3%, 9/14 patients), axial disease (36%, 5/14 patients), oligoarthritis (21.4%, 3/14 patients), and distal interphalangeal joint (DIP) arthritis (7.1%, 1/14 patients). Average number of involved joints was 6.4± 3.3. Dactylitis was detected in 57.1% (8/14 patients), and enthesitis was detected in 21.4% (3/14 patients). As comorbidities of PsA, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemia were detected in 35.7% (5/14 patients), 14.3% (2/14 patients), and 28.6% (4/14 patients), respectively.
