Recently public concerns and needs about healing forest have been rapidly increased. The purpose of the study is to provide a suggestion for healing forest policy of Jeollanam-do areas through characteristics analysis of forest therapy policy in Japan. Especially, we hope that this research proposes useful information for planning and designing warm temperate forest therapeutic in islands. Managements related aspects proposed customized program development to target segmentation and publicity through a publication. Policy system related aspects proposed two methods. Healing forest should be classification in order to specialization induction of therapeutic prosperities. In addition, it is to implement the healing forest certification system through complementary of forest interpreter and therapist. This study could activate of tourism of islands of warm temperate forest and contribute to local and national competitiveness with Jeollanam-do J project. In addition our results might provided the opportunity of new forest tourism program presenting nature and the traditional folklore or food culture in warm islands area.
