The purpose of this study is to theoretically systematize the visual expression form of make-up by applying Heinrich Wolfflin''s principles to the make-up shown in the fashion collections. The methods of this study are documentary research and demonstrative research. For the documentary research, mainly previous studies and related documents were used to look at the concept of make-up, its types, expression elements, and Wolfflin''s principles. For the demonstrative research, the make-up pictures are collected from 2001 S/S season to 2008 F/W season fashion collecton to analyze the visual expression form.
