The purpose of this study was to design an online platform, ‘INNO-F,’ which addresses the existing issues in fashion contests and provides participants with a creative and sustainable virtual environment. To do so, first, the study reviewed prior studies and analyzed major contest platforms to understand participant needs and platform limitations. The literature review found that successful operation of fashion contests requires enhanced promotion, accessibility, fairness, effectiveness, and sustainability. Although domestic platforms excel in terms of search capabilities and providing community services, they lack the tools to manage contest outcomes and user histories. Based on these insights, the information architecture and graphical user interface (GUI) design of ‘INNO-F’ were developed and a prototype created using Adobe XD. This unified online platform is aimed at the entire fashion contest process. It has improved accessibility with dynamic search capabilities, personalized dashboards, and communication tools.
