Abstract
In this paper we consider Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Dirichlet space of the unit ball in the $n$-dimensional complex space.
We then characterize Fredholm Toeplitz operators and describe the essential spectrum of a Toeplitz operator as a consequence.
