This study analyzed how media uses of marriage migrant women in Korea were related to their acculturation. For this purpose, this study conducted a secondary analysis of the existing Korean researches on media use of marriage migrant women focused particularly, on the relationship of their media use attitude, motivations and gratifications with cultural adaptation to Korea. As a result, they were using both traditional media (i.e. TV) and digital media (i.e. Internet, smartphones) and the main reason why marriage migrant women used media in Korea was to understand the language, culture, tradition and history of Korea and on the other side, to maintain relationships with their families, colleagues, and friends and others. It was confirmed that the use of media by marriage migrant women had a positive effect on their acculturation in Korea. Moreover, it showed that in the acculturation process media contribute to the integration of marriage migrant women in Korean society. However, it is still unclear how media affect their segregation, cultural transformation, and marginalization. Therefore, empirical verification is needed in the future studies.
