Abstract
Recently, Value Engineering(VE) is introduced in the construction sector to ensure budget reductions and quality insurance of ongoing project. However, since there are problems caused in design VE process, the efficiency of function analysis and idea deduction and analysis, which are important factors in the design VE analysis step, is questioned. In addition; capability of leaders and participation of members make standard differences in the analysis step and this process is similar to previous cost reduction alternatives which are conducted by replacing and inserting. Systematic thought process is required to maintain organic connections in the analysis step. In order to make up for these weak points, Advanced Systematic Inventive Thinking(ASIT), which deducts idea by thought process on fundamental rules, was used in presenting effective structures of idea creation. This study indicated applicable process using ASIT and verified the efficiency in making decisions.
