Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of domestic research about in fants and early children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The subjects of analysis were 219 papers related to infant and early child in the COVID-19 pandemic. The papers published in KCI journals from 2020 to 2023 were selected through keyword search and analyzed by year, research subject, research method, and topic. Results: First, 82 papers were published in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and the fewest published in 2021. Second, by research subjects, studies on teachers were the largest with 78 studies, while studies on infants and early children were the least with 12 studies. Third, studies using survey methods were the most frequent, and experi ments, observations, and case studies were rarely conducted. Lastly, The topics of the study could be divided into eight major topics, including child care programs, teacher duties, other education, COVID experience, parenting, child development, research-related, and others. Conclusions: The results of this study reflect the phenomena of social distancing and remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also suggests the need for continued research about the long-term im pact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children.
