The purpose of this study is to identify the attraction factors of Island ecotourism destination. By applying IPA(Important Performance Analysis), this study analyzes the attraction factors of Kumoh Island and its performance as a sustainable ecotourism destination. The empirical investigation points that the evaluation of Kumoh Island''s natural environment, the Birung-gil tracking program, and information system is positive. However, there is still room for improvement regarding the quality of information, ecotourism programs, convenient facilities and differentiation of Island Kumoh’s destination image. In addition, visitors showed high satisfaction in the region''s accessibility to other tourism attractions, hospitality of residents, and the price of accommodations. In conclusion this study suggests that improving the traffic system and parking space and developing historic and cultural place would be beneficial in making Kumoh Island a desirable place for tourists. Also, lunching new events and performance programs, and providing unique local food are expected to have a positive effect. In short, this study gives a theoretical background on ways to develop Kumoh Island a sustainable ecotourism destination.
