The main objective of the study is to examine the mediating effect of ‘establishment of alearning organization’ on the relationship between the determinants of sequential FDI andthe intention to provide sequential FDI. Data was collected from a survey of 105 Koreansubsidiary firms in India and the study analyzed questionnaires by using SPSS 21. Findingsreveal that ‘establishment of a learning organization’ produce a partial mediating effectwhen the determinants affect sequential FDI. Moreover, firm-specific factors andmarket-specific factors have a positive correlation to sequential FDI. Accordingly, in orderto activate sequential FDI more in the Indian market, Korean subsidiary firms in Indiashould consider establishing an internal system of ‘learning organizations’.
