Recently, in the logistics industry, negative issues related on jobs such as high intensity, long working hours, and overwork are rapidly increasing. However, there is a lack of evaluation and research on the quality of jobs in the logistics industry compared to other industries. Therefore, this study evaluated and compared relative jobs by industry using the Korea Labor Panel Survey (KLIPS) data, focusing on the concept of ‘Decent Job’, which has recently been conducted centering on the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the European Union (EU). As a result of the analysis, the Decent Job Evaluation Index of the logistics industry as of 2020 was analyzed as 0.697, which ranked 12th out of 22 industries, indicating that the degree of decent jobs in the logistics industry was medium. Comparing the values of the ‘Decent Job Evaluation Index’ by detailed industry, five of the nine detailed industries (railroad transport, inland water and port transport, air freight transport, sea transport, and other transport-related services) exceeded the average, while the remaining four industries (goods brokerage, storage and warehouse, road freight transport, and specialized transport) were below the average.
