The narrative communication could not be reduced to a static structure but would be constituted by the dynamic procedures of expression and understanding. Narrative shapes are generated by the various interactions and multi-featured semantic networks, not by the singular linear procedure. Narrative is a sense system suited to spatial form. Spatial form in narratives corresponds to the field in which the dynamics between narration and reception are operated. It could be an optimum notion for the argumentation of current novels that show various free styles and would not be reduced to the structural plot or so-called narrative grammar. In this critical essay I interpreted the dynamic mechanisms of some noticeable current Korean short-stories with the terms on the spatial form in narrative communication.
