The senior center is the most welfare facility for the aged in Korea, also is basic facility and public facility. But spaces and facilities of the senior center have not changed since 1970. The purpose of this paper is to find improvement of the senior center by survey. 13 centers in Yeosu was surveyed from December 12th 2016 to March 10th 2017. The data was analyzed by space, using time, safety, convenience, comfort and universal space. As results of this paper as follows: First, the access space of senior center must be improved for the first. Second, the sanitary space should be constructed nearby the living room considering the comfort and the safety and should be improved to barrier free for the disabled. Third, considering the convenience, the livingroom should be changed as a multipurpose space to be used as a dining room and a meeting room. Fourth, considering the elderly who has low ability for exercise and adaptability, all spaces should be improved to barrier free. Fifth, the countryside senior center should be improved into rest and shelter spaces with shower rooms. Sixth, the living space of senior center in the urban should be improved for a space which can be hold the program for the aged.
