The music bureau(樂府) in early Han dynasty played a part in new ritual and music. To finishing the new ritual and music, the music bureau was divided from Saofu(少府), and set up in Shang?ling center(上林苑). It could provide music for sacrifice, parade and amuse. In the past one century, it played a necessary role in making ritual and music and amusing. By the mission coming to be finished, the music bureau in Shang?ling centre diverged to the empire palace. The function of amuse was so evident that Ai?emperor(哀帝) had to cancel the music bureau. To Ming?emperor’s(明帝) time, the music of empire was parted four kinds. It not only confirmed the effect of Shang?ling’s music bureau, also hasten the Huangmen?Guchui(黃門鼓吹) come to being.
