Abstract
As a democratic political thinker and feminist, Carole Pateman focuses on the fact that women are excluded from modern political thought and starts to look at its origins from the social contract theory. In 1988, she analyzed the process of modernization of the patriarchal system, which is still firmly rooted in modern democracy, including the issue of ''sexual contract'' in the social contract theory through the . In 1989, focuses on the situation where women''s words are neglected in the society of logos with reason and language, revealing that the mechanism for the right movement of democracy lies in women. As a contemporary political thinker, Carole Pateman deals widely with variety of topics. Political thinkers who have attempted to analyze and explain almost all the issues that should be addressed in contemporary politics such as democracy, liberal and political duties, feminism and contract theory, social, legal and economic prerequisites for citizenship, basic income. Although none of the topics she has dealt with can’t be neglected in contemporary politics, and none are so simple, Pateman discusses and ponders all these topics in depth, with insightful conclusions and alternatives.
