This study examines the characteristics of nail design, focusing on the works of Nailpia, a domestic nail beauty magazine to analyzes nail art design, according to season, from the formative aspect. The purpose is to develop future nail art designs and to utilize them as important data for the continuous development of the nail market. The photo data analysis period of this study is based on the works shown in S/S season and F/W season of Nailpia 'NAILS' published from March 2020 to February 2021; a total of 60 photos from 12 magazines were analyzed. The research results are as follows. In the form of the S/S season, wh and high-saturation colors were mainly used for the oval shape color, and parts, stones, and glitter were mainly used for objects. In the case of the F/W season, it can be seen that wh and low-saturation colors were mainly used for the oval shape color, and parts and stones were the predominate objects.
