Abstract
This study was conducted to identify the correlations among problematic nail care behaviors, self-esteem, customer satisfaction, and revisit intentions, thereby providing basic data for improving service quality and establishing customer retention strategies in the nail beauty industry. The research results showed that the higher the mood management behavior and symptom management behavior among problematic nail management behaviors, the higher the psychological and social expected effects. The results of analyzing the effect of problematic nail management behaviors on customer satisfaction and intention to revisit showed that the higher the symptom management behavior, mood management behavior, and specialty shop management behavior among problematic nail management behaviors, the higher the customer satisfaction and intention to revisit.In addition, as a result of analyzing the effect of self-esteem on customer satisfaction and intention to revisit, it was found that the higher the psychological expectation effect and social expectation effect among self-esteem, the higher the customer satisfaction and intention to revisit, and as a result, the higher the customer satisfaction with problematic nails, the higher the intention to revisit. This study is significant in that it verified that problematic nail care behavior acts as an important variable that organically links self-esteem, customer satisfaction, and revisit intention, and provides a core theoretical basis for establishing service quality improvement and customer retention strategies in the nail beauty industry.
