Abstract
This paper deals with performance through the design and manufacture of the electric motorcycle for personal mobility. The integral components of the electric motorcycle are the electric motor, controller, and battery. They are also called ‘power module’. First, in terms of efficiency compared to the other motors, the electric motor for driving is applied to the surface permanent magnet synchronous motor. Next, vector control method is applied for the effective motion of the electric driving motor. Finally, the lightweight and highly efficient lithium polymer battery with BMS is installed on the electric motorcycle. The application and combination of each assembly lengthens the driving distance of the electric motorcycle. The results of this project will provide detailed information about the design rules and the performance data of the in-line and in-wheel types of electric motorcycle system.
