The aim of this study was to investigate the dffect of plant growth at several different growing periods on antioxidant activites and zeatin and ABA contents of artemisia iwayomogy. measurements of antioxidant activites, lipid peroxidation inhibition and superoxide radical scavenging activity were done using .PMS,NBT and lipid auto-oxidation analysis, respectively. The results show acitivites antiosidant from artemisia iwayomogy had mush higher than BHT. DPPH free radical scavenging effects of artemisia leaf was incresed from 71.06+-4.36% April and 90.06+-4.41% ub Octiber. An ELISA techique has been developed for the determination of zeatin and ABA in artemisia leaves. The ABA conten in leaf increased from 19.00+-1.26nmol in April to 68.20+-2.52nmol in October. Relationship between antioxidant activites and plant hormone contents was indicated that antioxidant activity may depend on decreased zeatin content or increasing ABA conten
