Abstract
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mentoring function on satisfaction and commitment of performer. The participants in the study were from five kinds of performer in Chonnam and Chonbuk area. The total 187(dancer, a member of symphony orchestra, national classical music. chorus member, a member of the national theater)surveys were useable. Results showed that there was different on job satisfaction and commitment of performer as a function of career and contact frequence of mentor. In addition, regression analyses showed that role modeling function of mentoring had effects on performer'' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In conclusion, the result of the study showed that role modeling function of mentoring had effects on performer'' job satisfaction and organizational commitment as a organizational effectiveness. The practical implications of this study are discussed.
