The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between primary local government's tourism preparedness and tourist response such as satisfaction, revisit intention and positive word of mouth. The tourism preparations to receive tourists is composed of various tourism facility and service items such as lodging facility, food, shopping, culture facility, kindness of residents, correctness of area map, attractances of tourism contents, transportation, etc. These items are directly or indirectly related to the push and pull motivation that attracts tourists to the destination. By utilizing factor analysis with these items, two factors(tourism facility & kindness, tourism manuduction & attractiveness of tourism contents) were delineated. These factors were regressed with satisfaction, revisit intention and positive word of mouth. The results of the study show that tourism preparedness has significant effects on tourist response variable. Based on results, marketing implications were discussed.
