The purpose of this study is to look at the character design of ‘Nailmax’, a nail design featuring the longest history of Japan's nail magazine. And by analyzing from formal terms of the nail design feature in the season, it is intended to be used as an important material to develop future nail designs. The photographic analysis period of this study has focused on the total four seasons in the past two years, accounting for 10 ‘Nailmax’ magazines. First, extracted 78 works of ‘Art Lesson' from the magazine, the duplicates were removed and extracted from 48 works. At this time, the photo analysis will be reveled twice by the three Ph. D. companies. The results of the study are as follows. First, in the '14-'15 F/W season, there was a wide variety of gat, complex patterns, accent color scheme and separation color scheme, such as classic, elegance, romantic atmosphere, which were used to describe various types of jewelry such as pearl, stone, parts, and studs. Second, the portion of the '15 S/S season complex patterns, separation color scheme, jewelry was largely occupied. Third, in the season of '15-16 F/W season, we could see complex patterns, accent color scheme, jewelry, and velvet powder. Fourth, in the season of '16 S/S season, complex patterns, according to complex color scheme represented a romantic atmosphere and the most striking feature of the decor was about 58 percent of the decoration. It is expected that continuous and diverse follow-up studies will be needed in the future to understand the trend of the nail art market in Japan based on such data, and when the related product development and marketing through the prediction of the trend according to the season are performed, and activation.
