In the 94th chapter of Baktongsa eonhae(≪朴通事諺解≫), the so called “da qiu(打毬)” was the popular “chui wan(捶丸)” recorded in Song and Yuan Dynasty(宋ㆍ元代) which was similar to the present golf. “fei bang shaor(飛棒杓兒), gunzi(滚子), ying jui(鹰嘴), jiqiqiur(擊起毬兒)” was the club which were used when hitting the golf ball and it was similar to the present golf ball arm. As for the court facilities of “chui wan(捶丸)”, it was the same as what is now “woir(窩兒)”, and there were “woir(窩兒)” at every other palace or on flat land or on stairs, which were as same as modern sand trap, deep grass, trees, road and other barriers. What was said in Tnnals of Joseon Dynasty(朝鮮王朝實錄) about “bang xi(棒戲)” or “ji bang(擊棒)” is just “chui wan(捶丸)”. This new game liked by palace as well as royal families was spread to common people and it is still spreading among common people as the name of “Jangchigi(장치기)”.
