Family pattern of our country assumes a modern appearance but it isstill dominated by feudal consciousness structure and value internally. This inconsistence inevitably invites conflict and collision and as aconsequence, the life of children is also affected thereby as family isnot only a substantial environment where children are born and growbut also their emotional foundation. In this study, while paying attention to 'Old-fashioned territory(domain) in modern times' among the various problems of familism inKorea, an aspect of overcoming alterity by individual family membersis intended to be observed through the work of Choi, Na Mi.Target ofthis study is two pieces of full-length fairy tale such as 'Mother'sfortieth birthday' and 'Worrywart 13 years old' and its main theme is anarrative reaction method to family ideology. Through this study, it is hoped that a width of understanding for thefamily epics as well as family ideology inherent in our society wouldbe broadened and an opportunity of deeply thinking over its limitationand future direction would be provided at the same time.
