Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of western cuisine restaurants servicescape on customer satisfaction and loyalty in the food service industry. This Survey had been made from June 01, 2012 till June 30, 2012 and 281 people visited western cuisine restaurants within 2 years in Gwangju province. The data were analyzed using frequency, reliability, factor and multiple regression analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, it proved western cuisine restaurants servicescape caused a positive(+) impact on customer satisfaction. Especially, It proved the 4 factor; professionalism, cleanliness, appropriateness and quickness of western cuisine restaurants servicescape caused a positive(+) impact on customer satisfaction. The professionalism proved the most important factor among others. Second, it proved customer satisfaction caused a positive(+) impact on loyalty. This results will be helpful for food service marketing managers to develop a further more service marketing management, and suggest specific guidelines for developing service marketing strategies.
