Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the actual state of makeup and the educational experience and demand for the safe use of cosmetics of elementary school students, and to analyze the relationship between appearance satisfaction and educational satisfaction to provide basic data to help plan the education program for the safe use of cosmetics for elementary school students. As a result of the study, it was found that body image satisfaction (r=.312, p<.001) and subjective appearance satisfaction (r=.319, p<.001) by subfactor of appearance satisfaction were statistically significant positive (+) correlated with educational satisfaction by subfactor of education satisfaction, and body image satisfaction (r=.269, p<.001) and subjective appearance satisfaction (r=.277, p<.001) were statistically significant positive (+) correlated with learning transfer by subfactor of educational satisfaction. As a result of analyzing the effect of appearance satisfaction on educational satisfaction, the explanatory power of the regression model was 12.4% and the regression equation was statistically significant (F=14.622, p<.001). When it comes to educational satisfaction of elementary school students, it can be seen that subjective appearance satisfaction and body image satisfaction are important factors for each subfactor of appearance satisfaction. The explanatory power of the regression model in learning transfer was 10.0%, and the regression equation was analyzed to be statistically significant (F=11.427, p<.001). By independent variable, subjective appearance satisfaction (β=.191, p<.01) and body image satisfaction (β=.177, p<.05) had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on learning transfer.
