Abstract
We designed this study to examine whether a CoTras-based computerized cognitive rehabilitation program improves cognitive function and activities of daily living (ADL/IADL) in community-dwelling stroke survivors. Twenty participants in City G were randomly assigned to an experimental group (CoTras training) or a control group. The experimental group completed 30-minute CoTras sessions twice per week for 8 weeks. Cognitive function and daily living performance were assessed pre- and post-intervention using the MMSE-K, NCSE, KMBI, and K-IADL. Baseline measures did not differ significantly between groups (p > .05). After the intervention, the experimental group showed significant improvements in MMSE-K (p = .002), NCSE (p = .041), and K-MBI (p = .001). K-IADL scores increased but did not reach statistical significance (p = .341). The control group showed no significant pre–post changes. These findings suggest that CoTras-based cognitive rehabilitation may improve cognition and basic ADL in community-dwelling stroke survivors, while effects on IADL were not statistically significant. Larger trials with follow-up are needed.
